I am considering taking the Foundation in Taxation exam instead of the F6 Taxation exam. I have Open tuition’s FTX notes and lectures but my study and exam kit are for F6 Taxation. Do I need to purchase BPPs Foundation in Taxation exam kit or could I use the F6 Taxation kit to study? Sure the questions will be more advanced but will studying them help me pass the Foundation in Taxation exam?
If you choose to do FTX instead of TX-UK then you will need to get FTX material to ensure that you study all and only what is in that syllabus but you would then be able to use the OT lectures and study notes for the common parts of the syllabus.
You will need the FTX exam kit to get used to the style and standard of question in that exam.
