Guys, was wondering if you could help. I have only just started even looking at the books (literally today). do you think there is enough to get ready for two exams? Any advice and the best way to revise? I dont know where to start.

    Thanks.

There is always enough time (unless you’ve about 2 days). But it depends on you whether you do the work needed now. And how you learn.

I always stressed over the workload, but also worked very slowly until it was ‘too late’ and then went full steam (a last minute reviser) It was one ofthe reasons I went to the colleges, they made me work! Attendance, listening all forced upon you! 🙂 Costly though.

A lot of people say you need to plan lots, and planning can help. Work out how long you’ve got and how much weighing you need per exam. (I would assume, twice as much in performance management as audit)

Then pretty much get down to it.

    Set targets?
(mine were, 1. read through the books making notes – compare time left to chapters to make sure you’ve enough time to finish, 2. read through any other notes – eg class notes, opentuition etc. 3. check out tips and core areas again. 4. past questions. 5 review notes)

I know I did a lot less question practice to other people. But one thing I did like doing was going over the QBD questions from college to see where I did well and badly. They also focus on core areas.

I’ve even done it before where you work nearly non stop for 2 days before the exam. It’s possible. Just do it. Turn your stress into a force to work! 🙂
