Economy Environment: Monetary Policy / Fiscal Policy

can sum1 please explain to me (in nice simple words) what they understand about Monetary policy? i kno Fical policy is about the government collecting tax money and spending it on the people/economy but Monetary involves the Central Bank..which i don't quite understand Thanking u in advance for the help
