Duties of a director

Dear Tutor. I need help with this question please help me. Is this statement true or false? A director's main aim should be to create wealth for the shareholders of the company

Why are you attempting a question for which you do not have an answer? You should be using a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA Approved Publishers - they have answers and explanations. The statement is true - the directors are appointed by the shareholders and their main aim is create more wealth for the shareholders. However you have headed up your post 'duties of a director'. This is different because there are legal requirements for directors. However they relate to Paper LW rather than to Paper FA.

Thanks for the help Sir. I got this question in BPP FA practice and revision kit. The answer is indeed true. But I still had a little doubt that's why I ask. I thought maybe it was an aim of the director but I was not sure whether it was a 'main' aim. And Sorry if the title was not correct. Thank you for the help Sir.
