    Hi all,

I have selected Topic 19 and wanted to know if it is only possible to choose a company that has acquired/merged within the prior three years.I was supposed to have submitted in period 39 but unfortunately couldn’t, hence i will be submitting this May 2020 (Period 40). The company i have chosen made an acquisition at the end of the year 2017.

Also,is it necessary to have Primary information? Has anyone passed this topic using only secondary information?

    Please guide me, Thank you.

Well that seems to be within the 3 year period having happened just over 2 years ago so shouldn’t be a problem.

I suggest you use the search facility to find the thread we have on Topic 19 as it may give you a,few tips on approach. Primary data is not a prerequisite if the companies were given high profile press coverage as there should be plenty of material in the public domain though it might be needed for lesser known companies where there might be less information publicly available.

With the correct approach and sufficient research it should be possible to pass
