As an ACCA student and future accountant, is it more advisable to buy a macbook or windows software laptop? Or is it even necessary to bring laptops to class?

1h ago#1Sorry that I didn't see your question sooner. You should contact your college to ask whether you are expected to bring a laptop to class. If your tuition providers uses the tutor resources that support ACCA's Study Hub, I think it is likely that you would be expected to refer to the Study Hub content during class (and hence you need a computer).
Re Mac v Windows, I suggest Windows dominates in ACCA. As the CBE practice platform relies heavily on spreadsheet and word processing tools styled after Microsoft Office, I suggest Windows will be most useful to you.
