Just wondering, do you need the latest material to pass?
I know exams and books are updated every year but are they really so different?
What I’m asking is, could I pass with outdated information or do I need the latest from BPP or wherever? Also, where do you usually get your materials?
September 30, 2016 at 3:59 pm #342133I also would like to ask, is the Study Text enough to pass the exam?
or would I need the Practice and Revision Kit and the Passcards too?September 30, 2016 at 6:26 pm #342143The text and videos from open tuition are enough to pass.
I would of course advise you to buy a revision book from one of the usual providers, like Kaplan or BPPOctober 2, 2016 at 4:06 pm #342232I mean the books keep getting updated does that mean if I buy a BPP study text now for example, I can only use it for the coming December exam? Then if I want to use the book for 2017 exams it will be out of date?
How long does each edition stay valid for?

It really depends on the paper. You will definitely need the most updated material for F6 because the FA changes every year.
You can find information about changes in the syllabus or in the structure of the exam on the Acca website for all papers. - AuthorPosts
