in this question, the yield curve given is assumed to include spreads.
1. how do we know what/when to assume about spreads?

Sorry, but you will have to tell me which exam (or alternatively which number the question is in the BPP Revision Kit).
its Q 32 in last years bpp kit. it does not mention the year of the exam..:(. its called: Do it Yourself
