Sir,
Please what is the format of a discussion paper?
April 26, 2016 at 6:31 pm #312769For P4 it is very much the same as a report – with a heading, an introductory paragraph explaining the purpose, a summary of assumptions made, and the suggested conclusions. (With the calculations as an appendix)

May 1, 2016 at 7:26 pm #313288sir john,
need ur kind advice, I attempted P4 6 times but getting failed every time despite of went through all syllabus and well preparation but…….now I am very disappointed..please advise me what to do & how can I improve my marks in p4 paper.
May 2, 2016 at 6:43 am #313313Are you sure that you really understand everything in the syllabus? (Have you watched our free lectures, because if not then you might find them useful!).
If you are sure you understand everything then it is practice, practice and more practice. I assume you have a Revision Kit from one of the approved publishers (if not then you should buy one), and you should attempt every question and learn from your mistakes. (If you have already worked through one Revision Kit, then buy one from one of the other publishers so that you have more questions to practice.)
Also, I have recorded a few lectures working through some Question 1’s from recent past exams – in these I discuss the approach to the questions as well as the technical content. You can find them linked from the main P4 page on this website.
Any problems while you are practicing then ask in this forum and I will try and help.
