So I just learnt that executive system help the senior management understand the performance of the business
Decisional support system on the other hand was said to help the decision makers in the businnes
So I was wondering whether the decisional support system is also targeted to help the senior management since it says that it helps the 'decision makers'

Decisional support system and executive system
In practice there is no very hard distinction between a DSS and an EIS. EISs tend to make more use of external information (for example, what's likely to be happening raw material prices). However, top management will also make use of DSSs. For example, they will use spreadsheets to experiment with budget assumptions.
Oh alright
I understood now thank you
