Passed first time with 51%!!! So pleased and glad to see the back of performance management as I really struggled with this one. Hope everyone got the results they wanted ?

This is my second attempt! Passed with 66%! Highest result in my ACCA history. Thank you Sir John Morfat.

Failed on third attempt all below 30% what am I doing wrong here. I have put in loads of work .

Guys!! I passed with my first attempt at 65%. Tbh, i'm not sure initally if this is the best choice cause this is the first paper I attempt without joining any class. Just solely refer on John's lectures, notes, forums and A LOT OF BPP QUESTIONS. I realize one thing, your study really start when you doing the BPP Revision Kit, dont put too much time on lecture guys!!! Thanks to John and Lisa for helping me with the questions and etc. I'm gonna do the same(self study) with FM and AA too. Wish me luck!!

I passed with 65 marks and it's all thanks to John. OpenTution is a real lifesaver.

I passed with 61%. I really struggled with this one as it was very technical. So happy because this is the last paper I was remaining with for me to go to the next level (SBL) etc. Thank you OT and particularly John for your support. Be blessed. Congratulations to those who passed. And to those that didn't, don't give up yet. I did this paper in 2017 and failed. Took me 6 years to gather courage and go again. You are not a failure, just study smart not hard?

Passed with 51% - third attempt, so glad to get this one out the way!

It’s a pass for me finally, 60%, was my third attempt. thank you very much John and opentuition!

Got 46% in September and then 47% in December, seems very odd have applied for an administrative review as I do not understand how I have failed and only improved by 1%. It also appears that many people have the 3rd time lucky charm when doing PM. Which to me sees that after paying out over £350 on one exam ACCA look favourably and decide to pass the student.

What resources did you use this will be my third attempts and I have no clue what I am doing wrong. I understand all the topics and my time manangement is good just seems like the people who mark this are incredibly harsh.

pass with 62%. I honestly expected less because of transfer pricing, but apparently I got that right

Thanks for your comments. I am not happy that you failed and waited that long to write and pass. But your experience is really encouraging to me. I was very discouraged this morning.

congratulations iam going to sit the pm paper in March what is your advise for me to pass that paper your help is appreciated.

Out of all my exam attempts so far, (PM is the 8th topic I've attempted) never have I failed an exam so many times. First time a couple of years ago with 37%, last year on my second attempt - 48% and only JUST managed to scrape a 53% and pass it in this session. I am unsure if the "third time lucky" charm worked for me because the amount of work that has gone into this, and STILL only managed to scrape it, was ridiculous. I'd changed my study strategy so many times, syllabus wise never left a stone unturned, and spent weeks each time on just mock exams, essay style question technique and ploughed through all of the MCQ in the Kaplan exam kit multiple times. Boy, am I happy to see the back of this one! It literally has been my nemesis (LOL) considering that I'd gotten first time passes for all the previous ones. If it wasn't for this one I would say my ACCA journey had been quite enjoyable really (absolutely not though). There is absolutely NO WAY I will be picking APM for my optional haha. 5 exams left and I have a good feeling about them. I'm over the moon today :) My advice to whoever is / has been in the same situation as me, seemingly unable to crack this one, is - do not give up. The reason why this is so prestigious is because of how challenging and technical they are. And once you have it under your belt, no one will take that away from you :)

Firstly, congratulations on your success. I'm seeking some advice from you if you're able to oblige me. So, I'm thinking of attempting it in March, and I will begin studying today after work; 1. Do you think that with the time frame, it is doable? 2. Any advice on how you approached your prepartions?

Passed on second attempt - 63%. First attempt was 47%. I really focussed on my timing and exam technique for the second attempt and it shows it paid off. Never would have thought I’d get through the paper with 3 mins to spare! I split it by Section A and B - 50mins each, then 80 mins on section C. Started with section C first, then B. I knew I had done some things wrong and didn’t have time to go back to change at all so it’s really reviewing your answers as you go, and keep moving through the paper. My section C was transfer pricing which I found horrendous so I’m very interested to see the exam performance feedback when it’s out!

32% 3rd time. I thought the Exam I had on the day was by far the hardest of the 3 and was even pondering if I am in advanced performance management! Joke. An absolutely nasty Exam. This exam is definitely passable so going to keep going. Pass or fail going onto Auditing after this.

Hey congrats on passing your exam. Any tips on how you revised etc? What were your methods of studying? Im planning to sit the PM exam soon but dont know where to start!
