Hello John,
I am currently preparing for the exam in December. I would like your expert opinion as it relates to the theoretical aspect tested for the exam. I am currently using the course lecture notes. Do i also use the text book as well? I often use it for reference. I look at your terrific lectures and i practice exams style questions from the revision kit.
My challenge is with the theory tested which i know is very important.
My objective is to maximize the resources to succeed. i would appreciate your advice.
The lectures cover enough to be able to pass the exam well – both calculations and theory.
Certainly the more reading you do the better if you have the time, but I think the Study Text is best used more as a reference book.
Most important is that you have a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers and that you practice all the questions when you have completed your studying. Practice at exam standard questions is vital.
Thanks for your advice. I will follow and hope to achieve the target. I am interested in doing the advanced paper, P4 after once successful in the paper, F9.
You are welcome 🙂
