Explain the specific matters to be included in the audit proposal..
Contents of audit proposal
1)fees and basis of fees
2)responsibility of auditor
3)Outline of the firm
4)client expectations.
I understand all point of this answer written by acca examiner. But I can’t understand the last two point
” quality control and ethics ” and
” additional non audit and assurance services ”
I want to know under which proposal content above two point belong.The scenario mentions that this will be the company’s first audit that funding was raised from a VC co – so we don’t have to assume that the prospective client knows all about QC and ethics – so it is appropriate to mention in the tender.
In the last para of the scenario it states “I am willing to pay more for services that I consider more beneficial to the business, such as strategic advice”. The last para of the answer draws on the matters raised by BJ’s comments.
