Hi,
I just need some information. I am studying as distance learning student because in Sydney there is no institute for ACCA course.
I got exemptions for 5 exams ( F1,F2,F3,F4 and F6). I enrolled myself for December 2014 semester for F7.
According to the Syllabus guide which i found from ACCA global site .The syllabus is changed for December 2014 exam. I could not find Bpp and Kaplan ( up to june 2015 syllabus) book for F7 online and also from any shop in Pakistan because everyone is saying the book is not changed for this semester and the student will study the old book ( up to june 2014 syllabus) and they will get the exam question from old . Is it true?Could you please confirm me whether i should study the old text book or the new and if you have any information regarding book from where i can buy please let me know so i can buy .
Please help me .
Thank you so much .August 18, 2014 at 7:41 pm #191376Hi Farah
Well, let’s get rid of the bad news first – I have no information about where you could buy any 2015 material 🙁
Now the good news! The structure of the exam is changing to include mcqs for the first time
The syllabus is essentially the same as for June 2014 – but you must make sure that you are up to speed with IAS 41 Agriculture (it’s my guess that this will be the basis of an exam question in December 2014)
Otherwise, you should be ok with the text book for “up to August 2014”
What you must get hold of is a revision kit with some mcqs in there
In answer to your question, study the “old” text book but make sure you are fine with mcqs and with Agriculture

August 19, 2014 at 7:42 pm #191555Jodiann, can I ask you to check out on this site the analysis of past papers to look for a question on impairment of a cgu? I’m a bit overwhelmed at the moment with 41 posts to check and, where appropriate, answer
