Hello john i need help on this particular breakeven section b question type it is in Kaplan revision kit. Question 246 Hare Even (2016)
It says that Hare organizes two sporting race marathons one is full marathon and other is half marathon. The budgeted people taking part in full marathon are 20000 and in half are 14000. Selling price of full is 55 and for half is 30 the Contribution for full is 36.8 and for half is 18. The fixed cost is 385000. It asks that if Hare Events wants to achieve a profit of 500000 from the marathons how many entries would they require for both full marathons and half marathons ( assuming its done in a constant sales mix)February 24, 2020 at 7:29 am #562899I do not have the Kaplan Kit but I do have all the past exam questions. However this question does not seem to appear in either of the 2016 exams – please can you check the date?
Have you watched my free lectures on CVP analysis, because this is multi-product CVP analysis which I do explain in my free lectures.
