sir out of curiosity I wanted to know this. That is am trader in currency F&O in NYSE stock exchange. Then there will the CC be stated in $s across all currencies or that in order to buy japanese yen, say, i’ll have to buy CC which is stated in JYEN? or Euros based CC for a bet on Euros?

This is of no relevance for the Paper AFM exam, although the trades will all be denominated in $’s.
