    Hello sir,
    In a question called Fox industry June 13
    5 deficiency+5 recommendation
    Also a requirement being prepare covering letter.

    Is this covering letter examinable.?
    If yes can you pls give guidance on how to approach in few words.

    Yes it is – it’s probably worth 2 marks and only required when specifically asked for. The published answer shows what is needed – addressee, subject line, intro sentence and a “Yours” that is appropriate to the “Dear” – so if “Dear Sirs” it should be “Yours faithfully”.

    Dear Sirs

    Audit of ABC Co for the year ended … 20X5

    Please find enclosed the report of deficiencies in internal controls identified during the audit for the year ended … 20X5.

    The appendix to this report considers deficiencies in the [… ] system and recommendations to address those deficiencies.

    This report is solely for the use of management and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
