hi sir ,
which one following type of book-keeping error is never indicate when trial balance of nominal ledger account balance is extracted ?A. error of commission
b. error omission
c. error of principle
d. transpositionAns is C y ?

June 16, 2016 at 5:32 pm #323187I don’t know where you found this question, but in fact (assuming you have typed it correctly) then both A and C are correct!!
I assume you have watched my free lectures and therefore understand that the TB will only show up errors where the debits to not equal the credits.
An error of commission means that one of the entries has been posted to the wrong account – but the debit will still equal the credit.
An error of principle means that an entry that should have been made to an expense account when it should have been to an asset account (or vice versa) – but again the debit will still equal the credit.June 17, 2016 at 1:21 am #323235Ok.. thx sir.. actually my answer is A n C too… thank you
