    Hello Mike

Currently i wished to have some of your advises in order to improve further for my P2 studies..Heres what i did so far

    1. I have practiced all the past year paper available from acca website
    2. I have the notes from opentuition
    3. I have downloaded all the IFRS and IAS standards for reading and understanding
    4. been doing this for few months…Everyday at least 4 hours spent for P2

Now the problem still strikes me is that .. The essay part…I understand the concept of the IFRS/IAS ..Not entirely but majority of them ..But when its time for application, i couldn’t relate the IAS/IFRS concept that i studied in the documents that i downloaded from http://www.ifrs.org

Is there a way to improve my current bottleneck ? I just hope that i wanted to have a pass..50 only should happy enough..Only keep on study past year for essay part so that i absorb the “experience” from the paper? in order to tackle it on coming exam

I have given this advice on countless occasions both on this site and in the class room.

The really is no better preparation at this late stage than simply reading, as often as you can face the idea, the questions 2 and 3 from the past exams dating back to December 2007

Reading them more than once therefore involves repetition and it’s that constant repetition that will help you to remember the way in which the IAS / IFRS are woven into answers.

When you follow this advice, don’t pick a question and read the answer 3 or 4 times.

Read all the questions and answers, right through, and then do it again, and then again

    Ok?
