    Why are there two “Associate” line items in the proforma? What is the difference?

    Hi,

    There is a line for the share of profit of associate within profit or loss and one for the share of other comprehensive income of associate.

    Hi, I have a ques, May I know how to account for the share of other comprehensive income of associates in consolidated SOFP? Put under revaluation or retained earning?

    Hi,

    A good question that I doubt you would see in the exam but it would be included within the investment in associate figure first and then in a separate component of equity in the equity section, not within retained earnings.
