Hello there,
I completed only 7 papers of ACCA and moved to New York as a permanent resident. I do not have a bachelor degree and therefore, finding it difficult to get into any university to do a MBA or work on a CPA qualification.I could finish the remaining 2 of fundamental papers and achieve a BSc degree from Oxford Brook University and do a Masters degree or CPA in the USA. Or, get some sort of exemptions from a 4 years of bachelor degree (if there is any suitable course exemptions) and get the bachelor degree from USA.
I hope I could address the issue and explain my understanding of the possible solutions.
I would be really kind if anyone could provide their opinion and help me out of this problem.
Thank You very much.
Kind Regards,

the other thing for you is to give up the 2 papers and do CFA from beginning. That’s the real deal in the States. i don’t know the Prerequisites of that.
Masters degree is good but it depends now days what you want to specifically go for after. we live in the era where i think Professional qualifications stand out more than the degrees.
but again its about personal choice what you prefer really.hope this helps in anyway.

I think it is one of the biggest mistake for people to think that the Oxf. Brookes will be good enough for one without a Bach. Degree, especially in the US.
What I know from many people who have gone that route, Universities in US never accepted the OXF Brookes degree, reasons for it not being a ‘4 year Undergrad Course’..
U need a 4 year univ education to be able to apply for Masters…..
Either u start from scratch, which obviously is the last thing you’d want to do, I think its best as suggested above to go for a CFA!
Remember CFA is that one prof qualification that is not bound by UK or US standards/principles etc… CFA is accepted globally and will get u a career start in banking, or risk management etc…
Most ppl I knw in this line, financial analysis, either end up doing a CFA or an FRM (Financial Risk Management)
