is it appropriate if the analysis of the company is done individually and the compitor is done separately and then finally arrive at a conclusion.

The whole point of using a comparator is to compare and evaluate the performance of the two companies comparing and contrasting their results, so why would you want to separate them out in two sections? It does not make sense to use such an illogical approach -They need to be properly integrated.

As a former marker I would find tthe approach you seem to be suggesting very frustrating and have probably failed on assessment criteria number 4 “Presentation. of the findings” And as I was also a former academic conduct officer I would suspect that the, student had probably colluded with another student each doing one company and then swapping their work around i.e. one using the other’s main company as their comparator. Markers know this is attempted by some, students who can’t be bothered to do all the work for themselves!

Yes that sounds better. It would be better still if you showed the ratios of the results of both companies on the same graph/bar chart each time so that the differences in performance can instantly be seen
