    Hi,

Just after a bit of advice as the CIMA UK office is now closed for the Easter break!

    I joined CIMA in 2015 after completing AAT in 2014. I was exempted from C01, C02, C03, C04 and C05 exams.

I took and passed E1 in 2018 – after which I had to take a break from studying for personal reasons and due to my increasing workload in my role as a Finance Manager, which increased further with the pressures of keeping the business afloat during Covid times.

Fast forward to now – things have settled down and I am in a more stable environment (at home and at work) and now want to restart taking P1 and going full steam ahead to full status eventually.

I logged into my CIMA account the other day, and I noted that I have ‘Badges’ now appearing on my Exam Dashboard. The badge for CIMA Cert BA is in blue, with the remaining 4 greyed out. This is new and I’m not sure that this means. Does blue mean I have CIMA Cert BA?

Further down, under the the “CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting (CIMA Cert BA)” section, it now shows “Book Now” for each exam BA1, BA2, BA3 and BA4. Whereas before when I logged in, I’m sure that my exemptions were applied against these (as I am presuming these are the replacements to the C01-C05 exams).

Furthermore, under the OPERATIONAL level, all the exams are showing as being “Locked”. Even the one that I have already taken and passed (E1) is locked – despite my Exam History page still showing that I have passed this one.

Essentially I am, from the CIMA website, currently unable to book my P1 or F1 exams or progress in any way.

Have my exemptions have ‘expired’? Although I cannot see in any information (past or present) from CIMA that this would be the case.

Or, is this a website bug?

I’ve continued to pay my student membership all throughout this time.

I have tried to contact CIMA but they are closed until Tuesday.

Thanks in advance for help 🙂
