Is P1 the main subject tested in a Cima Operational Case Study ? And which areas of E1 P1 or F1 should i focus on ?
Which online tuition providers are best for preparation of the case study exam. I have heard about Kaplan, Astranti, BPP, First Intuition, Viva financial Tuition, Cimastudy.com and StudyCimaUk.Hello.
Yes P1 is supposed to be the lead paper for operational case study – although there are always strong elements of E1 (and some F1) in there too.
There are no calculations in the case study exam directly so an understanding of costing methods, inventory management, performance analysis is generally helpful.
When you receive the pre-seen you can use ideas from this as to which P1. F1 , E1 topics to concentrate on ( I cant tell you because each pre-seen has different P1, F1 and E1 focus).In terms of online providers – im afraid ive got to be impartial here plus I only specialise in P1 – so wouldn’t like to recommend learning material for OCS…
I suggest that you to post that question on the student forum rather than asking a CIMA tutor forum – then you will receive recommendations from actual students..
