    Please do not ever order me to do anything!!

    I have no intention of showing the workings here for two reasons:

    Firstly, the answers to all of the examples are printed in the lecture notes (try looking at the contents page to find them).

    Secondly, I work through all of the examples in the free lectures that go with the lecture notes. It is completely pointless to use the notes without watching the lectures – the notes are lecture notes, not a Study Text, and on their own are not enough to be able to pass the exam. It is in the lectures that I explain and expand on the notes. If you are not watching the lectures then you must buy a Study Text from one of the ACCA approved publishers and study from there. This is a professional exam and only 50% of the exam involves calculations – that is why I spend time in the lectures making sure that you understand what is happening.

    (And, of course, however you choose to study, it is vital you buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers. They are full of exam-standard questions for practice, and practice is essential if you are to pass the exam.)
