I understand that the present value of the future cost of decommissioning or restoring a site where an entity as extracted raw material should be added to the cost of the asset. However, I do not understand why this solution is expensing 3million naira. Please I need to be clarified on when to capitalize and expense in such cases of retlstoring site. Thank you
The answer should be Dr Mine Account, Cr Provision Account with $3 million
