I have the same question , I've got revision kit , but it is 2010 . Do you know if it is absolutely NO No , do I need to get new one ??????

Hi

Yes, there have been some changes to a number of IAS / IFRS but these do not appear to be very deep. I'm not keen on the idea of Larissa using a 2010 revision kit. Much of the book / most of the answers will not have changed. But the changes could well be the areas that Graham examines - he has publicly stated that he will examine each new ( and therefore also read "changed" ) IFRS will be examined at the first opportunity.

What are the new IAS & IFRS's which going to be aplied and examined for June 2012 session. And sir plz let me know the probable current issues for this session.

I have a good feeling that we could well see any or all of IFRS 10, 11, 12 and 13 as well as IAS 19 revisions.

I'm also happy to include a question on "Management commentary" but full tips will appear on the site in a couple of days

10x a lot! it helps me a lot already since i did not attend classes
but i'm very confused, ias 27,28,31 is superseded by ifrs? but comes into effect from 2013, should we study new ifrs only or both?

new ones. I suppose Graham COULD ask about the affect of the changes .... but I doubt it!

At your peril! Look at the ACCA's list of examinable documents. If they're on there, they're examinable
