Dear sir,
Could you please point some significant legal changes in paper f4 from dec 2014 to sep 2016.Thanking you
January 18, 2017 at 8:50 am #368102Significant?
None that I can remember – the Earl of Oxford’s case of 1604 is still relevant as are most (if not all) of the cases that I talk about
The syllabus has been tweaked here and there, but nothing major that I can remember
The course notes have been amended as small changes come through so, for example, the lectures identify one of the characteristics of a public company is that it should have a minimum of 2 members, that HAS changed and the number is now just 1. The course notes reflect that change but I haven’t re-recorded the lecture for that small variation
OK?
If you do come across anything about which you are uncertain, please do post again
However, it is vital / essential that you get hold of an up-to-date revision kit from one of the reputable publishers. Think of this not as an expense but as an investment
And, having got your hands on a revision kit, start work into those mcqs straight away. You’ll probably score less than 3 out of 10 in your first pass through, but that will rise to 4 / 10 on the second pass through. Then you should be looking for 60% followed rapidly by 70% and 80%
Don’t waste your money buying a study text but check back on this page whenever you come to an issue that causes you a problem
But the bulk of your learning is achieved by endless repetition of those mcqs and the mtqs
