    Hello,
This is regarding the CBE exams. Only this format is available in my region. I can easily do an NPV question on paper but I have trouble doing this on the computer. May I know if your lectures explain how to do questions on the computer ?

Also May I know if it’s possible to show the workings on the spreadsheet like I would do on the paper based exam without using any formulae etc…will I still get full marks? I am just not comfortable with the formulae

The format for answering NPV questions is exactly the same as on paper, but on a spreadsheet. We do not provide any lectures on using spreadsheets, but if you are not used to them at work then you can find plenty of free lectures by searching on the internet.

Also, you should look at the students section on the ACCA website, and also attempt the specimen computer based exams on the ACCA website.

As far as workings are concerned, you must show your workings and although it is quicker to do them by writing formulae on the spreadsheet, it is fine to just type out your workings if you find that easier.
