I have CBE querries:
1) I am fairly new to excel and I was practicing question in the format,
-Do we have to write down the formula in the answer or just show working straight away and they will figure out? for eg: WACC has long formula
2)Because the cell doesn’t merge in the excel, what’s the right way to present your answer in subjective for and in calculations?
3)I am not a big fan of formula in big calculations like WACC or the set beta formula or any formula which has complicated calculations, can I solve on my calculator and write the answer down? will it work?
Thanks
1. You do not have to write down any formula you use in the spreadsheet because the marker is able to see the formulas used.
2. For written answers you also have the word processor available.
3. Doing calculations on your calculator is fine, but in that case make it clear which formula you are using.
