    hi sir in the year 31 may 2012 galleon co purchased non current assets with a cost of 140000 financing them partly with a new loan 120000 galleon co also disposed of non current assets with a carrying value of 50000 making a loss of 3000 cash of 18000 received from the of investment during the year what should be gellon co net cash flow from invesing activities

    sir i use

    add disposal proceed of investment 18000

    but i did not get the answer can you say what i missing

    The cash paid for the new assets was only 20,000 (the rest of the cost was financed by a loan, which will be shown under cash flows from financing activities).

    Yes – there is also the cash received from sale of 47,000.
