hi, i am stuck , in cash generated from operating activities something we put investement and finance cost and somethings not? why? thanks

Add back the finance costs (accruals based figure), deduct investment income (accruals based figure), calculate the CASH amount paid as finance costs and deduct within the operating activities section. Calculate the investment income actually received and show as a "+" cash flow within investing activities. Ok?
