Hello everyone,
I hold ACCA membership but lack a graduate degree. Initially, my goal was to progress from ACCA membership to obtaining exemptions for ICAEW, then proceed to the Advanced Level Exams and ultimately achieve ACA qualification. Unfortunately, this plan has not materialized as I am unable to fulfill the ACA experience requirement, despite having worked at EY for four years (2013-2017). As an experienced professional with familial responsibilities and a full-time job, securing a training contract with an ICAEW-approved employer is practically unfeasible for me.
I am reaching out to seek your suggestions regarding alternative professional qualifications that align with my career objective of enhancing employability in top companies and facilitating global mobility.
Best regards,

There are lots of jobs advertised with ACCA Approved Employers in UAE https://jobs.accaglobal.com/jobs/approved-employer/united-arab-emirates
I would say for global mobility and employability there are more countries in which organisations will recognise ACCA and may not even have heard of ACA/ICAEW
ICAEW may well boarst “98 of the world’s global leading brands employ ICAEW Chartered Accountants” – what that doesn’t tell you is that their accountants in the UK, for example, are most likely ICAEW, but throughout Africa, CIS, Asia, etc they are more likely ACCA, and in Europe they probably have national qualifications and in the US most likely CPA.
