Sir what is the difference between current year interest rates and nominal interest rates From what i understand so far I think Nominal interest rates are interest rates before the effect of inflation so I'm assuming the current interest rates are also the same thing Please correct me if I am wrong sir

Nominal interest rates are the actual interest rates (not interest rates before the effect of inflation).
