cmmi aims to know what is the position of the firm now.
eg starbucks - may at level 2 or 3 because it has standard process and procedure to make coffee, the way to serve customer.
you can put in your suggestion at which level you might think it is and put your explanation with it. you can explain it by expanding the definition 'mark up' with the scenario as in the case study.
