    I found the details on ACCA’s website regarding the order of modules:

    ACCA Website FAQs

    You can attempt up to a maximum of four papers per examination cycle. There are two examination cycles per year: 1 February to 31 July and 1 August to 30 January.

    Papers must be taken in line with the following module order. However, you can attempt the papers within each module in any order:

    Knowledge (F1-F3) – available by computer-based exam (CBE) or paper-based format
    Skills (F4-F9) – available by paper-based format
    Essentials (P1-P3) – available by paper-based format
    Options (P4-P7) – available by paper-based format.

    For example, you can take F3 before F1 and F2, but you must complete all three exams before taking F4.

    If your status allows you to enter for papers across modules, please remember that you must complete the papers in order and enter for outstanding papers in your current module if you wish to enter to sit papers in the next module.

    For example, you may have already passed papers F1 and F2. You can enter for papers F3 and F4 at the same time, but you would not be allowed to only enter for F4.

    From the above it seems to me that you can attempt P1 and P2 with F6 but you will also have to sit F7 at the same time.

    Cheers.

    @sheenakaur,

    in other words and briefly – you can’t 🙂

    if you were sitting F7 this time time , including all other oustanding papers from skills level, then you can take profesional papers, otherwise, no.

    You need to sit and pass F7 before you can attempt P2. Why would you try to study P2 before F7 anyway??

    If you log on to your MyACCA you are able to see all the exams you can currently sit. I’m sure I am now able to sit P1 although I am yet to sit F8 & F9. I do rember something along the lines of having to pay for all un-passed F papers in advance if sitting a P before finishing all the F’s

    Good Luck

    Provided you have passed P2, you can sit P1, P3 and P4, but you will have to pay for F8 in the same sitting.
