Hello Dears!
Teachers, i only read opentuition lecture notes and practice the BPP revision kit, not use BPP Text Book.Could you give some advice for my preparation? Can i pass the exam.
Thanks a lot!
Su,
Ask the Tutor ACCA BT
can i pass the exam?
You can pass the exam with this material.Note that we also have free lectures and many people find these useful.
It is vitally important to practise questions. When you practise questions put your answer on a separate sheet so that you can repeat the questions later without any clues.
When you get a question wrong decide whether it was simply a slip or whether it was a lack of knowledge. If a lack of knowledge, have a look at the Opentuition notes and lectures again.
Thank you so much.I enjoy studying Opentuition lectures and Notes. These are very easy to memorize and most of the questions i can answer. So these are very useful.
Teacher, i read kaplan text book , kaplan revision kit and practice questions from open tution. can u pls advice me.
What about? You should be ready to attempt the exam.
I watched all the lecture videos and read the lecture notes. however there are only few specimen papers available to attempt. is that enough practice or is it necessary to purchase an exam kit for f1?
I would strongly advise you to purchase an exam kit. When you try questions, don't mark the book so you can go back to questions without any marks to provide 'hints'.
I don't know which exams you have tried, but ACCA has some specimen ones and there are flash cards, revision questions and a mock exam on this site also.
1. Are there lectures for FA1, FA2, MA1and MA2
2. Are the Open Tuition notes sufficient to pass the above exams for someone with no accounting background

The notes cover the technical content you need, but it is essential to have lots of question practice. Therefore, you should buy a revision kit/question bank from one of the major publishers.
Is it enough to read only the notes of open tuition?
No. You should listen to the lectures and practise questions from an exam kit from one of the major publishers.
