You can pass the exam with this material.Note that we also have free lectures and many people find these useful. It is vitally important to practise questions. When you practise questions put your answer on a separate sheet so that you can repeat the questions later without any clues. When you get a question wrong decide whether it was simply a slip or whether it was a lack of knowledge. If a lack of knowledge, have a look at the Opentuition notes and lectures again.

I watched all the lecture videos and read the lecture notes. however there are only few specimen papers available to attempt. is that enough practice or is it necessary to purchase an exam kit for f1?

I would strongly advise you to purchase an exam kit. When you try questions, don't mark the book so you can go back to questions without any marks to provide 'hints'. I don't know which exams you have tried, but ACCA has some specimen ones and there are flash cards, revision questions and a mock exam on this site also.
