Kindly provide guidance on how to calculate the market growth in BCG Matrix. I have a question related to this in June 2011 Case- Ent Entertainment CO and I didn't know how they got the answer.

5y ago#1Cafes: 2010 to 2011 sector growth = 3348/3072 = 1.0898 or 1.09, so 9% growth.
Similarly for other years and sectors.
Later, average growth for cafes for three years has been calculated as (9 + 11 + 9)/3 = 9.66
