Forums › OBU Forums › Calculating average ACCA mark with ‘hidden’ law mark?
Hi, sorry if this should be posted to an existing thread.
I’m planning to do OBU period 46 (May 2023) and have been looking into what degree classification I can get.
I downloaded my exam history transcript from ACCA and it shows the following:
Corporate and Business Law – Conv. CBE Pass
Performance Management – 76
Taxation (UK) – 58
Financial Reporting – 67
Audit and Assurance – 67
Financial Management – 73
Guidance from OBU says to take the average of these 6 but as you can see I don’t have a mark for Law. I took this as a CBE at a Kaplan centre and got my certificate on the same day saying I had passed, it may have said the score too, but I can’t put my hands on it right now.
Has anyone here had the same situation? Would OBU take the average of the 5? Or do I need to try and find out the score from the Law exam?
I note it says ‘conversion pass’, which is the reason it is not showing. You would have to check with acca@brookes.ac.uk what happens in these circumstances – whether the original mark is available to them and used in the calculation or whether it is averaged over the 5 other papers. Send them the same details as you have posted here to find out….
