Sir is it the right approach to do the SWOT and PEST for each company separately ,the ratios of the first company separately and the second one too then do comparisons of the two companies

    Thank you

Hi – With respect to your first question. You need to analyze your main organization in detail for the models you have chosen; and you can briefly touch upon aspects/ performance of your company within your analysis of your main organization. You need not have a separate section for your chosen models for peer company.

Second question – you need to analyze financial and business performance over 3 years. I am not sure how you can do this by just using one-year financial statements.

2.Sir like if l look at the 2019 financial statements it also compares the 2018 one with the discursive aspect as well, then l feel l partly have to touch the 2018 one to compare between 2017 and 2018 because the 2018 financial statements includes the previous year’s discursive aspect like wise.Is this right?

I recommends you to look at the annual reports for all the years as you might get additional information which might not have been included in the latest annual report (e.g management commentary – Management commentary is different for each year).

My topic is 20 and my company has restated their annual report each year because the company sold subsidiary. if the subsidiary is sold, they restated the previous years figures by showing the business under disconnected operation in the latest annual report as if the subsidiary was disconnected from the previous year. for non financial data they excluded the disposed subsidiary results from the latest annual report and also restates the previous year report. In this situation which data i should select?? the restated one or the actual data from the particular year??
