So F7, P2, P3 and P5 all in June 2015? You’re taking on a lot, particularly F7 together with P2. Basically, for F7 and P2, yes, it’s ok to use 2014 material. The only matter so far as these two accounting papers is concerned is that they may possibly not include a chapter on IAS 41 Agriculture nor a chapter on Integrated Reporting. Both of those topics you’ll need to check out the opentuition course notes and do your own internet research if the books to which you refer don’t cover the points.

Personally I don’t remember ANYONE being successful when attempting F7 AND P2 in the same session. Without doubt there will be some out there who live to tell the tale but they must be few and far between

Have you passed P1 yet? You need to have passed (or at least be entered for) all three P1, P2 and P3 before you can start into the final two option papers

A simple answer to your post – yes (for the two accounting papers) – I can’t comment on P3 nor P5 but I’m going to put this response onto those two Ask the Tutor pages so Gromit and John can see what I have responded

    OK?

    thanks Mike
I am trying to attempt my last 4 papers to qualify for ACCA :). Done P1 and got an exemption for one option as had passed business systems paper earlier on.
Will decide towards mid feb what to sit for depending on how studying goes on.
Thanks for all your work offering the courses online. Dont know what i would have done without help of opentuition.
    Regards
    Fatema
