Can someone please explain this example, Shouldn't we take the mid point of 2 moving averages like on the previous page since the moving average cycle or period is an even number (12). Since we're taking averages in periods of 12 months, I thought we we're supposed to take the mid point of moving averages but they haven't done so in the solution. Can anyone please explain this?

Never mind got it. I think since the period is annual, cycle is one year which is an odd no., which presents no need for a mid point of the moving averages
