Hello sir,
I know this may sound a little silly but I am second guessing myself now as to whether I should read the bbp book along with your notes plus the handouts provided by my institute.I am currently on investment appraisal and I feel the book is wasting my time since I find everything pretty much covered by the handouts/OT notes.
I was able to solve working capital kit questions but it the theory mcqs that worry me.
Since they can come up from any part of the book! *sigh*So what should I do?
October 28, 2014 at 4:07 pm #206422The first thing you should do is work through all of our lectures (with the Course Notes in from of you).
Assuming that you understand them, that will certainly give you enough knowledge to be able to pass the exam well. (And where there is anything you do not understand, then ask in this forum). There will be some theory MCQ’s, but not so many (and most of them you should be able to answer from our lectures).
However, when you have finished the lectures on one section of the syllabus (e.g. the whole of the working capital lectures) you should use your Revision/Exam Kit and work through all the questions on that section. Where necessary, learn from the answers (and OK, look up in the text book if necessary).
You really do not need to work through the whole Study Text. It is better used more as a reference book – look up things you do not understand, or want more detail, but that is all you really need it for.
