Greetings Sir, Hope you are doing well. I unfortunately did not pass my AFM exam in Dec and earned 45%. I am sitting for the March exams and revising the bond valuation chapter and started working questions for the chapter. In the BPP exam kit question 27, Airline Business (12/07, Amended), I am struggling for part B with the effect of the New debt on current MV of the debt, specifically the effect of 110 basis point reduction as in the answer in bpp exam kit. I've read the answer more than once and still cannot understand it. It would be much appreciated if you could please explain the part b ; effect of New debt on market value of current debt. I am away from home until Thursday and I do not have the BPP Revision Kit with me. Please ask again on Thursday and then I will be able to answer you. (In the meantime, have you watched my free lectures on bond valuations?)
