    Hi dear Tutor, Why we ignore 1.5 extra working hours on Sunday in calculating both lightening cost and heating cost?if extra hours are available then the store will use electricity cost more.

    Could you please explain?

    Where are you finding an extra 1.5 hours on Sunday? At the moment they are not open on Sundays and when they do open it will be for 6 hours.

    in staff cost calculation,it has been agreed to pay time and a half to sales assistants work on Sundays.

    That just means that the staff are paid more than the normal rate. That does not affect the lighting or heating – they are not working longer!

    Yes Dear tutor, now I got it basic rate is 20 and it will be paid 20*1.5=30 on Sunday
