    Hi,

I am not really clear about the difference between benefit owner and project sponsor ,both of them seem similar to me?Also change owner and project manager.
Could you kindly explain them with the help of an example.

    Kind Regards,
    Furqan

Benefit owner is usually described as the person responsible for delivering the benefits. So for a new inventory system, the benefit owner might be the warehouse manager who uses the new information to place orders more accurately.

However, the project sponsor might be the manufacturing director or the finance director: the person who really pushed for the change and probably the person whose department paid for it.

I have not come across the term ‘change owner’ before and a Google search doesn’t help much. I suggest you forget that term.
