Hi All,
I am appearing for the 1st written exam of ACCA and hence have the following few queries:
1) Do part A, B and such of a question in Section, need to be started in new page or can start with same page?
2) If one questions stretches to 2-3 pages, does a comment need to be written on the bottom of the page like Continued… and on top of next page like Q 4 A continued….?
3) This might be a silly question. But by any chance is there a mistake in the ACCA question paper. If yes, how to tackle it? For example, in F5 Mock Exam 2 of BPP Revision Kit, the question of Colour Co, did not mention the actual output units in order to calculate labour efficiency, but this number was used in the Answers.
I know these are very basic questions…. but some guidance would be very helpful.

Query 1# Well, you have to make work easier for the marker, he is your best friend for the 3 hour exam! so naturally, do each part on a fresh page, this way if you have any afterthoughts in any previous parts, you can add in.
Theres no harm if you dont, but yes its preferable to start everything afresh, even if you have to take a supplementary sheet
2# No if you have the same answer extending to multiple pages, dont do that, it wastes time.
3# ACCA exams, unlike BPPs go through various editing, so probably not. If something you think is missing, it might not a printing error but a matter for calculation or assumption. If you cant calculate, mentionan assumption like X is not given, i assume X is 2 and move on to the next part
