Can I use substantive procedure as ‘auditor response’ when answering a question concerning audit risk ?

Sometimes yes but not always. Per the examiner’s report (S18):
“An auditor’s response does not have to be a detailed audit procedure, rather an approach the audit team will take to address the identified risk.”I urge you to read, if you have not already done so, the article linked to the sticky post at the top of this forum “How to score marks in AA – essential guidance”.
To really benefit from this article DO attempt the questions as signposted.
