Can anyone here make me a suggestion? I passed F9 at the time when there was the old syllabus. Then F5 and F9 were one unit called 2.4. Now with F9 been upgraded can anyone suggest to me how I can take on P4? If you think I will have enough knowledge for P4.
Paper 2.4 included investment appraisal (mainly discounted cash flow) and that is examined again at P4. However the really big extra bits that were not in 2.4 are Cost of Capital, Capital Asset Pricing Model, and foreign exchange risk management. (Obviously there is more, but these are the really key areas). You will need to work hard on these areas as well as revising Met Present Value calculations.
