Hi,
I have been given exemption on 9 papers, all knowledge and skill level papers. But, I’m preparing as if I have received no exemption and would sit for the exams with ACCA.
I have completed MA, FA and now I have started BT. I’d like to know from you whether the resources provided on StudyHub for BT and Open tuition would be sufficient, if I were to sit for the exam and desired to pass with good marks?
October 21, 2024 at 4:27 pm #712602In addition to the resources you mention, I would strongly recommend that you buy a revision kit/question bank from BPP (20% discount if bought through OT). The questions in the exam can be tricky/sneaky/subtle and you can never have too much practice.
Don’t mark your question bank: write answers on a separate sheet to keep your book clean and hint-free for trying questions again. Note which ones you got right and wrong and give priority to going back to those you got wrong.

November 15, 2024 at 6:43 am #713251I have noticed that a lot of the topics on the study hub are not explained properly or not explained at all but just mentioned. For instance, extranet and intranet. Whereas, the bpp and the kaplan books go deep into these topics.
I have the latest kaplan study text and exam kit. Should I read both studyhub notes and kaplan notes? would it not be too time consuming to read ot notes, kaplan book and study hub notes all together?
November 27, 2024 at 3:18 pm #713572I suggest you stick with the Studyhub notes. Refer to the Kaplan notes on a selective basis, ie only if you feel you need additional information. For example, as the result of trying a revision kit question.
